What we install
How we build indoor turf projects
Why San Antonio teams train indoors
In San Antonio, an indoor space lets athletes keep training through the summer. NOAA’s 1991–2020 normals for San Antonio International Airport show an average summer high of about 94°F, roughly 122 days a year at 90°F or above and about 18 at 100°F or above. Outdoor fields are under pressure too: SAWS Stage 3 rules require athletic fields and parks to reduce watering. A climate-controlled turf floor is ready every day, whatever the weather or the drought stage.
We build the whole space
Most indoor projects need more than a floor, and we handle the entire build. A batting facility needs cages and netting that keep balls where they belong. A turf field or training gym needs pro walls or padded walls where athletes run, throw and play into the boards, and lanes that line up with the room. When different companies handle each piece, the layout rarely fits together.
Our San Antonio team plans and installs it as one project:
- Turf for training floors, cages and sprint and sled lanes
- Walls: pro walls (hockey-style dasher boards) or padded walls, whichever the space needs
- Netting for batting cages, divided bays and ball containment
- Batting cages sized and placed to fit your floor plan
You get one crew, one schedule and one point of contact from layout to finished floor.
The turf we use indoors
Most indoor floors get Legacy Speed, a 3/4-inch slit-film blade on a 5mm foam pad with a 48 oz face weight. It needs no infill, so there are no rubber pellets to track through the building. The foam pad gives some cushion for agility work, and the short, dense blade holds up to cleats, sleds and cage traffic. Legacy Speed carries a 10-year warranty and is Made in U.S.A. and lead & PFAS free.

Questions
Before you get a quote
Do you build more than the turf floor?
Yes. We handle the full interior of a training space: the turf, the walls, the netting and batting cages, planned together so the layout and ball containment work as one space.
Which turf do you use indoors?
Most indoor floors get Legacy Speed: a 3/4-inch slit-film blade on a 5mm foam pad with a 48 oz face and no infill, so there are no rubber pellets to sweep up. It carries a 10-year warranty.
Can you convert a warehouse or retail space in San Antonio?
Yes. We start with a site visit to measure the room, ceiling height, doors and columns, then plan cages, lanes and open turf around the building you have.
Will you work with my landlord or general contractor?
Yes. We plan our work around the building and coordinate with whoever manages the space, including any permits your general contractor handles.
How do I get a price?
Call (210) 954-1803 with the size of the space and what you train for. We visit, measure and give you one written price for the full build.
